Toys Destroyed

I have fun making toys for my parrots.  However, I still like to purchase new ones now and then to give my birds something new to hold their interest.  Recently, I bought two busy wood toys from Michelle at Mother Pluckin'.
These are called Avian Flapjacks!  80 irresistible pieces of crunchy wood!  Two identical toys, one for each Molly, my Blue and Gold, and one for Lucy, my scarlet.  Molly is dainty and casually chooses a piece of wood to chew.
Lucy, on the other hand, jumps on and attempts total destruction in minutes.  She hasn't obliterated it yet, but give her time.  There is a pile of wood pieces below!  I will save these pieces and use them in a foot toy crock.  When you gotta crunch, you gotta crunch!

Macaws are wood chewing fools.  Chauncey, my slender billed cockatoo, is more tactile.  He loves to feel various textures.  Today, he looped a ring around his beak and then rubbed a rope perch.  I'm sure he was mesmerized by the feeling.  Funny bird.

Each one is special.
