Busy Times for Parrot Nanny

Roo (ster) with toy string.
With the winter weather and shorter days, my time seems to be swallowed up!  I have a lot of demanding boarders that require my attention!  Roo gets bored if he can't go outside.  He is feather challenged so going outside has to be limited to warm weather.  So, instead, I make him strings of tantalizing items that he cannot resist.  In this photo, he seems to be avoiding it. However, he is actually very interested and just doesn't want the camera to catch his delight.  I use polyrope and string together fun things like baby spoons, fuse beads, sunshine wheels, munch balls, leather disks, and pony beads.
Simon w breakfast on door.

Simon here is more interested in food.  He like to have out-of-cage time but will come down to the door to enjoy his breakfast.  Birdy Bread, with the produce makes him a happy camper!

Joshua pushing his limits.

While I'm kept busy elsewhere, Joshua decides to push his limits!  I ran short of ceiling guards after hanging numerous Atoms all over the house.  I figured he played happily on his apparatus and wouldn't need them...  WRONG!  He climbed up the chain to explore the ten foot ceiling.  He looked at me when I asked him to come down with an impish grin.  They know when they're in trouble!
