Birds Have Names!

Cornell University is researching parrots and this video is all about a study determining how they learn their names. 

Yes, they have individual names and use them in communication along with other individual's names!

Wow - amazing. These parrots learn their "names" from their parents, and can identify and address other parrots with their unique names as well. What brilliant beings. I wonder if Rooster is thinking "What bright spark in the human world decided on THAT name for me?" :) Thanks for sharing this with us!
